Transfer files via Remote Desktop Connection

These instructions are written following Windows Vista. I guess they would be very similar in Windows XP too. Go through the following steps.
  1. Run the Remote Desktop Connection.
  2. Click Options and go to the Local Resources tab.
  3. Click the button 'More' and a new dialog box will apear.
  4. Check these options - Smart card and Drives. Press OK to close the dialog box.
  5. Now go back to the General tab and save the settings.
Now you are good to go. Connect to the remote machine and copy files and paste onto the local machine.
